Hi All-



Just wanted to jump in......new on the list and whatnot.

I have noticed some talk about the Tyco Cam.  And, the hope that it will be a

good alternative for the PXL.  I can tell you it won't be.  My comrade

Bernard (say hey Burn) was able to get a copy of Tyco's press release for the

the new cam.  It is just a camera.  No recorder device.  You have to hook it

up to one.  So much for a further step for portability.  It does not pixelate

the images.  HOWEVER in my book it will be a welcome addition to my arsenal

as it is a definitve, cheap, B&W cam.  Not a PXL, but why do we need another?

 I welcome this new baby and I am sure it will only be around for awhile as

well as since it has no recording device, its use will be limited.
