Thought I'd jump in

i think though that this is a really good thing -- almost no one actually

records onto audio cassettes (i do it when i'm just goofing around, but not

if i'm making anything "real") but the pxl outputs a composite signal which

needs to be modulated in order to do anything with it...most VCR's have

modulators inside them, but most cam-corders don't. what i've always wanted

to do, was connect my pxl-2000 to my cam corder, put the cam corder in a

bag, carry it around on my shoulder and use it as the recording device and

the pixelvision as teh camera. the kiddie cam outputs a modulated signal (i

believe) with 2 rca cables (which will plug into almost any cam corder) &

making it, i think, more portable in that respect than the pixelvision. i

wasn't aware though that the image didn't pixelate ... oh well, rats. could

you possibly get me a copy of the press release? i'd like to put it on the

web page.

thanks,
