perhaps he will regale us with horror stories. i shot some pixelvisin 

yesterday outside with a vhs vcr, an 8mm cam corder (acting as the 

monitor) and about 200 feet of electrical extention cord. this was my 

first excursion outdoors with this rig and it was a genuine pain in the 

rear, as i had to carry the vcr under one arm while i moved around. 

haven't looked at the footage yet, but i'm sure it reflects my durress. 

sometimes it seems when my output cable (the rca composite) gets near the 

power cable, or near something electrical, i get white dots all over the 

image. without a readily visible monitor, i have no way of knowing what 

came out and what didn't. i shot a lot of coverage. maybe the tyco kiddie 

cam will fix this.
