two pixelcam questions

I am now the proud owner of a pixelcam! Thanks Jason!

I have two questions.

Question One: I understand I am supposed to use High-Bias tapes, and NEVER

EVER to use metal tapes, including chrome. Herein lies my quandry: the only

high-bias tapes I can find are "type II" or CrO2 . . . chromium oxide. The

only non-metal tapes I could find are "Type I" and they are Normal Bias, not

High. Do there exist High-Bias, non-metal tapes? I used Type I in it this

weekend to film a Seemen show . . . is that okay? What brand of tape is best?

Question Two: I'm now looking for a second camera in okay condition to use as

a "playback" machine which would be RCA dedicated to the AVID i.e. so I can

record with my nice new camera and then transfer stuff via the not-so-great

camera to the AVID. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I am assuming I'd be laughed off the list if I asked whether there was a way

to modify a tape deck to do that job . . .
