I'm a little curious, how does it operate better?  I mean, is the

picture better, or what?  And how did you add a 2-battery pack?  (Always

looking for ways to improve my camera's performance...)

I've never oiled a camera, but here's something interresting... of the

three camera's I have owned, the latest is VERY quiet, quite unlike my

previous 2.  I mean, this one is almost SILENT, when running.  It goes

to figure, that it is quieter for a reason.  Perhaps the previous owner

oiled it.



I'm thinking of taking one (of the noisy ones) apart, again, and giving

it a shot.  I'll let you know if anything interresting happens.
