Well, my PXL didnt work very well. It was very dim. I bought it cheap last Xmas from someone who thought it was a vastly overrated item. I did take it apart to see if there was anything on the lens. Seemed to be clean. BUT after hearing about others having the same prob, I tried again. This time I removed the lens housing & looked thru it.YUCK! That little blue filter is only1/8 of an inch square, but it sure makes a diffrnce!. Its very hard to clean. In the end, I just simply removed it completely. Its like a brand new camera! In fact, the filter in the lenshood for bright light conditions cuts almost as much light as the contamination did. So now I can use the camera indoors! I'm sure some of the graytone values will be different w/o the blue filter(red objects will appear lighter)but it was definitely worth it for my camera.
