audio tape or video tape...lets talk, baby!

Thanx to everyone who replied on their prefered audio tape.



Some people seem to enjoy the Pxl tape source. Others prefer to use the pxl

as an imaging filter & tape directly on a VCR  or a camcorder(if the pxl is

properly modified).



Now, if you had to do it all over again, which way would y'all prefer to PXL.

Yeah, I know a lot of you would like a pxl that could take a Hi8mmtape! 8)

But if you were going to do a pxlfilm & maybe submit it to be screened at a

filmfest, HOW would you CHOOSE to tape your next Pxl Project? The visceral

purity & degeneration of the audiotapes, or bounce the signal straight to a

video recorder of some sort & get the optimal pxl look.



BTW, I went to the Dfilm screening in NYC last wknd. It was pretty cool ,

but there was only one pxl flick. Actually, just scenes from the 2hour

version of a Pxl version of Hamlet.
