Some people buy pxls...then think they dont work cuz they plug it in w/o the RF box. I've bought a couple that way. They swore it was busted & it worked right away when I hooked it up at home. I scanned in the Pxl instruction booklet. Kyle Cassidy has it available on his webpage. The proper cable setup is there. There is a webpage for modifying the output so the RFbox is not necessary. Others have offered a more refined circuit buffer for the output. Its a shame. If only it were a simpler output, you could just tether the pxl to a small Hi8 camcorder & record directly to the camcorder...which could be tucked away into a backpack or held in hand & used to monitor the precise framing of scenes. Money makes things easier. Remember..it was a toy camcorder. & the recent tyco wasnt even a camcorder, nor did the lens have a great depth of field. But it was an inxpnsv camera. -bern
