PXL editing

Hi,

I live in France and I've got some problems with the PXL format (NTSC)

to edit my videos.

I've done some videos edited on  a VHS tape (my VCR can record PXL

pictures - in France it's amazing because it's PAL or Secam system, and

usualy a VCR can't record NTSC here) but it's not very pratical because

I can only work with the audio tape (audio tape: player; VCR: recorder).

I've got a Mac Performa 6200 (24 mo Ram) and I want to know which is

better (and cheaper!) for editing on this computer.
