The Blue Square




This might be a fairly obvious tip to most of you, but then again, maybe not...



Developed color film makes a good IR filter - the brown transparent part which

has no density (IE the end of the negative where there are no photos and it's

not all black).  Recently while working on my pxl I dropped the little blue

filter and I haven't been able to find it. I wanted some filter because with my

camera I've noticed a difference - I grabbed a piece of film, cut a square and

used that instead and it works great.
