Re: Creative FX hype (warning, long message!)

HOwdy Johnny-

No flame here. Although I am very happy with my FX cameras it is good

that a posting such as yours will allay the expectations folks will have

on it's picture quality. I acheive good quality pictures (relatively

speaking) by careful use of proper lighting conditions, but it takes

experience to know what works best for the camera. Sorry that you were

diappointed, and I would say $50 is too much to pay.

It's true it's not the Pixel of the 90's but it has its niche.

It takes some patience, but it can be fun:

The other day I spent an hour outside in perfect bright cloudy weather,

taking pictures with the neighbor kids, laughing and playing.

If you ever want a kid to laugh uncontrollably, tell them you want a picture

of them with a very serious face...

The pictures were perfect- very recognizable, gray scale, etc, and taken by

both the the kids and me. When I do take 2 of them to Guatamala, they

will be worth the space and weight.

Thanks again for the post!

And let's hope for a Pixelvision for the 90's soon....
