Heya >> ben was asking how to do some "resivor dogs dudes walking in slow motion" >Here's a really simple way to do it: > >1. dub pxl footage to vhs or record directly to vhs >2. play back required scene in slowmotion on the vcr >3. point a vhs camcorder at the screen and record Yea, I've tried that, but the problem is sync - I often get a big ass line in the middle, or it doesn't track well. Since I have a full screen/60fps capture card, I'll just do it that way. Which brings me to my offer: I'll perform slow motion, fast motion, and remove the 4 way letterbox the PXL introduces at cost. (Some call it "gutterboxed," I call it "litterboxed." I guess I'm just sick at heart.) I'll do some other effects you need if I have time. I can add an extra head to someone, blow a hole in their chest, etc. Just send me a VHS or Regular 8mm tape in a self addressed postage paid envelope, and I'll do it! (If you want slow-mo, let me know whether you want straight steps (frame by frame, a bit jerky) or blended frames (a bit more motion-blury, smooth.) The couple of scenes I've tried to invoke the "walkin slow" look on have turned out great, and I'll post the short when I get the chance. Thanks for everyone's support!
