Hey >pictures in my journal, next to names, etc. Also- people who are normally >reluctant to be photographed seem to have little objection to having a >"toy" take their picture, especially when you can print out multiple >copies and give them one. I am going Guatamala this summer, and Wow, do you guys know about the Holga? If not, this is uncanny - it's the same thing; a toy camera people can't really object to. No one ever "strikes a pose," when I shoot them with a Holga. They don't really believe it's a camera, I think. ;) Oddly, Discovery did a story on the toy cameras that's nearly identical to their PXL-2000 one. (These guys really dig toy technology!) In the words of Kyle Cassidy, it can be got at: http://eagle.online.discovery.com/cgi-bin/forums_view/dir852226977/alttech/C amera Or, just go to the real stuff, the fan-boy pages of Jonathan C. Winters: http://www.concom.com/~winters/toy_home.htm Anyone who's into Pixel will dig the philosophy behind this stuff... Have fun! Ben --- - ben syverson - ben@eden.com Phaedrus Film
