I have my pxl hooked up to a tv, and I flip the switch to record onto the tape in the pxl. Ok, as I am watching on the tv what I am filming, I notice that the tape player seems to be messing up the signal with wavy lines and stuff on the tv. I flip the switch off, and the lines stop, start recording on tape again, and they start backup. Have I done something wrong? Should I not hook up the pxl to the tv while I am taping in the tape player? Further, not only were there wavy lines of interference, but the picture kept getting all static like. I am attributing this to an old tape and a pxl that hasn't been used for a while. How do you clean the heads? Regular head cleaning kit? Where do you get chrome type II tapes, type II I found, but the chrome ones I didn't. Not at Wal-Mart anyway. -seank
